Strictly Come Dancing fans hit back at Craig Revel Horwood after viewer swipe
STRICTLY COME DANCING’S shock bottom two result tonight had viewers up in arms on social media - especially after a comment made by judge Craig Revel Horwood.
Craig Revel Horwood annoyed Strictly Come Dancing fans
He complained that it was the viewers who put Helen George and Georgia May Foote in the bottom two, as all four panelists expressed their difficulty at deciding which of the frontrunners to send home.
However, while Georgia had bagged the second-highest judges’ score on Saturday, he seemingly forgot that Helen was actually in the bottom two with the panelists.
One fan pointed out: “Er, actually Craig, it wasn't JUST "the public". The judges had Helen in the bottom two too!!”
“Get your facts right Craig you did put Helen in the bottom two,” raged another.

Someone else said; “I know Craig said it was the public who put them there but if they didn't overmark Katie [Derham] we might have got a better outcome.”
Helen and Georgia had both been considered shoe-ins for the final, with the result proving a surprise considering Helen - who was ultimately eliminated - had been top of the leaderboard only last week.
A viewer said: “All Hail Helen: courageous & perfect in the dance-off, sincere & gracious in defeat. And so very loved by all at #callthemidwife.”
“So gutted Helen and Aljaž are going! Completely the wrong result,” lamented another.

On Georgia’s unexpected fall from grace, one viewer said: “Georgia in the bottom 2 is a travesty of the highest proportions! Can't go.”
Now the final five celebs - Katie Derham, Anita Rani, Jay McGuiness, Kellie Bright and Georgia - will perform two dances next week in a bid to reach the final.
Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday on BBC One.
