Viewers of Stacey Solomon's BBC makeover show Sort Your Life Out had a lot of thoughts on the final episode of the current series, which aired on Tuesday, April 14. The star and her team decluttered a five-bedroom house for the Munro-Manns, a family of six who had seen more than their fair share of tragedy. Mum Mary's husband had died, leaving her with three children, including a special needs son called Gregor. He was left brain-damaged at just 16 months old after contracting an illness.

She had since remarried and had another child, but their home was full of clutter as she hadn't cleared out any of her late husband's goods. Those watching at home had nothing but praise for the family, and in particular, Mary and the way she coped. But they were left underwhelmed by the makeover, with one person even describing it as "cheap".

Taking to X - formerly known as Twitter - they asked: "#sortyourlifeout so is the idea clear out all the clutter just to replace it with some cheap s**te?" Another was left unamused by Stacey's DIY efforts, writing: "#sortyourlifeout awesome show but honestly, Stacey sitting there getting all creative. How though? That will fall apart in a few weeks..."

A third chimed in, remarking on a table Stacey "made" using old CDs, writing: "That CD table is awful. She's gone mad with power and a glue gun #SortYourLifeOut."

However, one element of the makeover proved a huge hit: the team created a den for the teenage children to hang out in. As part of the room, they installed a projector which their late father had purchased before he died.

During the decluttering, they found some old home movies of their father with them as babies, and they set them up to play, so they could hear his voice, which they didn't remember because they were so young when he died.

One cried: "Awww the home movie with the twins as babies and Milly kissing them while their dad narrates is just beautiful." Another wept: "Always emotional now watching this, their dad recording the daughter kiss her little brothers, actually getting to hear her dad's voice cos she couldn’t remember, heartbreaking."

Meanwhile, someone else shared: "Oh gosh, crying at the video where the children hear their dad’s voice. So special #sortyourlifeout." Fans can stream the latest episodes and previous series now on BBC iPlayer.
