Martin Lewis has announced he's taking a break from his TV work and social media to spend time with his daughter

Martin Lewis has established himself as the UK's most reliable authority on personal finance.
Millions seek his advice on topics ranging from energy bills to mortgage rates, and he consistently provides assistance during his regular segments on ITV's Good Morning Britain, This Morning and his TV show.
In addition he also offers his advice on his MoneySavingExpert website and social media platforms. he has now revealed that he is taking an extended break from his television duties to spend some time with his family.
The money-saving expert, 53, has chosen to take a hiatus from social media but reassured fans that he will return soon. Announcing the news to his followers, the financial guru took to X, previously known as Twitter, and said: "And that's me done. As I've no TV show for a few weeks."
"I'm going to take advantage and put my MoneySavingExpert hat to one side for a little bit and spend some time wearing my far brighter 'Dad' hat instead."

He continued: "So I'll be off social and work for 10 days or so. I'd be grateful if, while I'm off here, you report any scam ads using my name or image to the platform (they often increase when I'm not posting)."
Concluding the post, he added: "Wishing all everyone a Happy Easter or Pesach Sameach – and for everyone else, I hope you have a great time too. See you in a week or two. Martin."
The comments section was inundated with heartfelt messages from admirers as one posted: "Enjoy your family time Martin." Another remarked: "Enjoy your Easter break, thank you for all your help."
A third observed: "Enjoy your family time you deserve it." Another stated: "Enjoy your well deserved family time Martin and as always, THANK YOU for all of your advice."

Beyond his professional endeavours, Martin is married to former weather presenter and technology journalist Lara Lewington. Lara co-hosted the BBC's technology programme Click for over two decades before its cancellation.
Following the programme's final episode this year, Lara moved to ITV's Lorraine as the UK's first AI Agony Aunt, providing expertise on artificial intelligence and technology.
The pair share a daughter, Sapphire Susan Lewis, born in 2012. Martin frequently shares updates about his daughter, previously describing her as "Mini Money Saving Expert."
