Claudia Winkleman admitted she gets 'nervous all the time' during Wednesday's instalment of The One Show.

The former Strictly Come Dancing presenter, 54, appeared on the BBC One programme to discuss her new BBC series, The Claudia Winkleman Show, and the forthcoming second series of The Celebrity Traitors.

Throughout the interview, host Vernon Kay remarked: "You've been very public about being nervous. Surely you're not nervous, Claudia Winkleman. You're Claudia Winkleman!" to which co-host Clara Amfo contributed: "Exactly! You're Claudia the Winkleman."

To which Claudia confessed: "I get nervous all the time!" before mentioning to fellow guest Johnny Ball: "That's why we had to do some exercises downstairs."

To which Johnny replied: "Of course you have to do it. You get a bit of a tension before you start. And that makes... it improves your performance. You're on edge because you need to perform."

Later in the conversation, Claudia hinted at details regarding the forthcoming second series of The Celebrity Traitors. The inaugural series was claimed by comedian and presenter Alan Carr.

The first celebrity instalment of the BBC show featured prominent names such as Alan, Stephen Fry and Jonathan Ross in the cast - with the remaining contestants labelling them the "big dogs" of the competition.

Presenter Claudia was questioned whether there were any "big dogs" in the new series as she featured on The One Show on Wednesday evening, and hinted: "There certainly are.

"Really?" enquired host Vernon, appearing thrilled. "Yes," Claudia confirmed. "The people who make it are extraordinary. And they had to repeat the people twice to me. Because I was like, 'Huh? Are you joking? Come again?'

"So we're incredibly lucky," she continued.

There has been considerable speculation regarding which celebrities will be travelling to Ardross Castle for the second series of the popular game, with names including Ben Fogle, Danny Dyer, Louis Theroux, Jamie Oliver, Ruth Jones and Amanda Holden amongst those mentioned thus far.

The One Show airs at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on weekdays.
