Earlier this year, the BBC officially confirmed that Line of Duty was returning for a seventh series.

Fans of Line of Duty were thrilled when the BBC confirmed that the beloved series would return to screens once again, with the likes of Martin Compston, Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure reprising their roles.
However, one star from the programme has detailed a slight filming conflict, which they highlighted when speaking to Lorraine Kelly.
During Wednesday's instalment of her ITV show, the presenter spoke to Martin Compston about Scotland qualifying for the World Cup Finals, a first in 28 years.
When asked if he watched the game, Martin confessed: "I felt sick watching it! I missed the fourth goal because I was pacing. I was watching it in my living room and I was just screaming, 'blow the whistle!' I genuinely felt nauseous."
However, as the World Cup begins next year, the 41-year-old revealed that when it's on, he'll be making the BBC show.

He added: "We're doing Line of Duty when it's on, I've said, 'You're either going to have to get me some time off or kill me off, because I'm going to one'"
Lorraine joked: "We have too. I mean, I'm going to be on as well but I'm thinking I might have a terrible sore throat and only Boston has got the cure!"
Although it seems as though BBC viewers will have to wait a while to see what will happen to Martin's character, Detective Inspector Steve Arnott, in Line of Duty as it's not yet known when the programme will air.

Since the show came to an end in 2021, fans have been urging bosses for it to make a return as Martin told Lorraine the cast all cleared their schedules to make sure this could happen.
A synopsis for the new series states: "Detective Inspector Dominic Gough, a charismatic officer winning plaudits for a string of takedowns of organised crime, is accused of abusing his position of trust to act as a sexual predator.
"But is Gough's case a deliberate distraction from a bigger threat still operating in the shadows?"
All episodes of Line of Duty are available to watch on BBC iPlayer. Lorraine is available to watch on ITVX
