Wes Streeting was grilled by Good Morning Britain presenters Adil Ray and Kate Garraway over previous comments he made about Donald Trump.

Adil Ray left Wes Streeting squirming after remarks he made about Donald Trump resurfaced on Good Morning Britain.
During Friday's (February 28) edition of the ITV programme, Adil and co-host Kate Garraway spoke to the health secretary as Keir Starmer headed back to the UK following his meeting with Donald Trump in Washington.
The meeting saw the two political leaders discuss a number of issues, with the US president expressing optimism about reaching a peace agreement for Ukraine and securing a real trade deal between the US and Britain.
Speaking to the presenters from Westminster, the politician was in high spirits as he reflected on Sir Keir's visit to The White House.
"I thought it was a fantastic meeting in Washington yesterday and the culmination of a lot of hard work and dialogue on critical issues on defence and security, as well as economic trade and corporation, so fantastic from the point of view of Britain's national interests," Mr Streeting said.
Adil cut the politician off as he attempted to continue, insisting they were going to run out of time. After recalling how Mr Streeting said he wanted to restore honesty into politics when he was in opposition in 2017, Adil mentioned a remark he made about Donald Trump the same year.
The comment, made from the Labour MP's X account was shown on screen and said: "Trump is such an odious, sad, little man. Imagine being proud to have that as your President."
Two years later, Adil revealed that Mr Streeting signed a petition to stop a state visit from Trump.
Adil went on to claim that Mr Streeting is now "rolling out the red carpet" for a man who "pardoned thousands of people who committed riots on Capitol Hill, he has serious sex charges against him".

The presenter then questioned what's changed, asking why people should trust Mr Streeting if he's saying two different things in the space of a few years.
The politician avoided mentioning the comments directly, insisting his main responsibility is to deliver in Britain's national interests.
He continued: "There is no doubt that the special relationship between the US and the UK has been the cornerstone of Britain's defence and security and the relationship between the president and the prime minister really matters."
The Labour MP added: "Whatever our political differences, we've got to find common ground and deliver in our common interests."
