Meghan Markle 'breaking announcement' leaves viewers furious with 'disgraceful' Sky News
Sky News sparked backlash from viewers as they announced breaking news regarding Meghan Markle's new series whilst a reporter was reporting on the LA wildfires.

Sky News sparked major backlash after they announced "breaking news" about Meghan Markle.
The channel has continued reporting on the devastating wildfires which have ripped through parts of Los Angeles, causing complete destruction.
The uncontrollable blaze has destroyed thousands of homes and claimed the lives of at least 24 people so far. The death toll surged late Sunday with an update from the Los Angeles County medical examiner.
The National Weather Service issued red flag warnings for severe fire conditions through Wednesday, revealing that Tuesday will be the most dangerous day.
On Sunday's instalment (January 12) of Sky News, a reporter presented live from the Pacific Palisades, where more than 23,000 acres of land has been scorched.

During the report, a breaking news banner appeared on screen, revealing that the Duchess of Sussex's upcoming series, With Love, Meghan, has been delayed due to the devastation caused by the wildfires.
The eight-part Netflix series was set to premiere on January 15, but has now been pushed back to March 4.
The update sparked fury among Sky News viewers, who questioned why this was being reported at the same time as the wildfires.
One wrote: "Are you actually kidding me!? The NEWS reporter is stood in the ruins, of one of the biggest wild fire disasters California has ever seen, and Sky News reports that Meghan's cooking show release has been delayed?? Everything that’s happening & thats BREAKING NEWS!? Really?"

A second agreed: "And why is this news? How does delaying a Netflix "cooking show" impact the LA Fires? Firefighting and Containment: The show's delay has no effect on the actual firefighting efforts, the spread of the fires, or the immediate safety measures being implemented."
Another simply declared: "Disgraceful."
A fourth weighed in: "Oh come on. This has to be paid pr. No self respecting news organization will think that is newsworthy."
Echoing this, another posted: "No way. This is just being reported just because this was done at behest of someone just like all of their propaganda. No one is authentically checking for these grifters. Shame on her! The ironic part is how actually mortifying this is for her as all of Hollywood know how it works, and that she paid for all of this press during a tragedy. No less she’s cooked!!"
