Married at First Sight UK's latest bride-to-be Richelle left her fellow cast members gobsmacked when she disclosed her age.
The hit E4 dating show has returned with relationship experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson, and Charlene Douglas once again opening the doors to a fresh group of singles ready to find their other halves.
In the first extended episode of the 2024 series, the brides and grooms mingled for the first time during their respective hen and stag parties.
As the women chatted and bonded, jaws dropped when the gorgeous Richelle announced she was 48 and often gets asked for her ID when buying age-restricted items.
Prior to her appearance on MAFS UK, Richelle shared that her motivation for joining the show was her desire to find a life partner, especially after achieving remarkable success in her professional life, reports the Mirror.

The successful head of alternative investments, originally from Guyana and relocated to the UK at two years old, is on the hunt for a man who embodies her three Fs criteria: fit, funny, and financially independent.
Richelle, also a mother to a 20 year old daughter with whom she resides in the UK, has accomplished much but feels her life is not quite complete without a significant other.
With the premiere looming, she expressed her longing for a unique life experience, saying: "It'd be nice to, when I look back at my life when I'm older, say I've had a once in a lifetime experience."

The relationship gurus have dubbed the forthcoming series as "the most thrilling yet," filled with "drama, passion and steamy moments."
At the grand premiere of MAFS UK 2024 on Tuesday, Paul enthused: "The cast is incredible. They've embarked on a journey and I believe this is the strongest and potentially the most exciting series yet."
"A lot of people don't realise that myself, Mel and Charlene debate but above all, we're humbled to be given the chance to offer advice to our contributors."
Sex expert Charlene chimed in: "Married at First Sight means a great deal to us. It's one of E4's flagship shows and we're immensely proud of the brides and the grooms."
"There's plenty of drama, passion, steamy moments and we know you'll be on tenterhooks as you follow the couples' journey and ours too."
