Matt Baker opened up a "can of worms" when he shared the unusual way he met his wife Nicola as teenagers.

Matt Baker embarrassingly recalled how he and his wife Nicola met, to chef James Martin, admitting that he was “stitched up”.
The Countryfile host and his wife Nicola appeared on James Martin’s Saturday Morning, discussing careers as well as their Channel 4 series Our Farm In The Dales.
But it was a recount of how the former Blue Peter star met his other half which really caught James’ attention on the ITV daytime series.
"I was doing a '70s re-enactment group," Matt began when James interrupted: “Hang on, this wasn't in the brief!" with Matt joking: “This is a can of worms this.”
He continued: “I was called Butch Vendor and I was a bartender. I used to do all this juggling and stuff. Backflips and somersaults and what have you.”
Matt’s future wife Nicola was present when he was performing in the 1970s-themed group and he described it as “love at first sight”.
Of course, James was more interested in his alter-ego and asked: “Can we just go back a second… What were you called?!”
“Butch Vendor,” Matt replied, adding: “I was vending in a butch way.
“I went up and said hello and then I disappeared for the rest of the evening and then go and get dressed up for this thing.”
She then clarified: “He was in normal gear when I met him.”
Matt elaborated: “And after a couple of weeks my mate, who was the DJ of the night and we were all the 70s dancers, he stitched me up. Literally exposed me and revealed who I was!
“And that was it. We were teenagers when we first met - 17 and 18.”
Matt and Nicola have been married since 2004 and now share two children together.
The ex-The One Show presenter is currently working on a new Channel 4 series with the working title Baker’s Britain, which will see him celebrate the “extraordinary people, places and things that make up the fabric of life in the UK”.
As of yet, there is no word on when the four-part series is going to come out.
