Lorraine Kelly left her co-star red-faced with a candid sex revelation live on air.

The 64-year-old presenter was discussing the topic of low libido with Dr Amir Khan when she probed about when it becomes a medical issue rather than just a lack of interest in a "slap and tickle". The TV doctor then delved into various contributing factors.

Dr Amir informed Lorraine that "depression and anxiety" could be underlying causes for a decreased sexual appetite. For those struggling and looking to enhance their bedroom antics, the doctor offered some advice to the audience.

He listed several tips for improvement, such as "better health", "lubrication", and "making time". Lorraine's attention peaked as she quipped: "I'll be taking the lubrication point with me."

The beloved presenter also joked: "Only you could talk vaginal dryness and get away with it," leading to a fit of giggles between them, reports the Mirror.

Meanwhile, on Monday's episode (July 8) Lorraine was hailed by another on-screen co-star for braving the freezing cold Scottish waters in a plunging bathing suit at the weekend. Lorraine had visited Orkney, Scotland, looking to unwind after a five-day week in the office.

Speaking to Dr Hilary Jones about her weekend getaway, the television presenter explained that the trip had been "refreshing" and just the pick-me up that she needed. Hitting the beach, with a camera at the ready, Lorraine stunned in a striking low-cut swimming costume. She could be seen racing off for a swim in the sea as the footage was aired. Dr Hilary was full of praise and applauded her bravery.

Dr Hilary said: "You look very well on it," when speaking about her courage in the cold waters. Feeling recharged, Lorraine replied: "I feel very well on it, actually, it's just like a recharge of your batteries."

Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV at 9am.
