Angel Adoree scolds Dick Strawbridge over chateau renovation

Dick Strawbridge and Angel Adoree recently returned to screen for their new Channel 4 programme, Secret France, which is drawing to a close after just three episodes.

Escape to the Chateau star Dick shared an update about tonight's instalment of Secret France on Twitter on Sunday, writing: "Last in our series #SecretFrance is on a little earlier this evening 19.00hrs Channel 4 as a light alternative to the football!"

He continued: "We’re in the Auvergne and enjoy a whiteout on a volcano amongst other things- why not join us?"

Fans headed to the comment section to weigh in on the update, with one follower penning: "Ready and waiting Dick looking forward to it. Just wish there was more, really enjoyed."

A second added following the announcement: "Only 3? Not enough!"

Lesley noted: "Keep doing what you’re doing #tvfamily your joy is infectious."

Meanwhile, a fan of the show called Jim shared: "Great serious Dick, really enjoying it!"

Another opined: "Can’t wait. Just listened to the podcast and lying like a cheap NAAFI watch made me laugh. My husband was in the Army for 22 years and I still use that saying as do all my Army friends." (sic)

Dick and Angel gained huge popularity after appearing on nine seasons of Escape to the Chateau on Channel 4, in which viewers watched them renovate their stunning home, Chateau De La Motte Husson.

They managed to transform the dilapidated 19th-century chateau into a work of art over the years, opening it up as a beautiful wedding venue.

However, last May, Channel 4 confirmed it had ended its working relationship with the couple.
