Taylor Swift says it's 'humiliating' as hand locks up during gig

Fans of singer Taylor Swift, currently enjoying the global star’s UK tour, will take a keen interest in Jake Gyllenhaal’s new drama Presumed Innocent on Apple TV, in which he plays a villain who betrays his wife.

Gyllenhaal, who had a relationship with Swift in 2010 for several months, was targeted by Swifties online after she wrote a vitriolic song about the break-up, All Too Well, which was on her Red album in 2012.

Swifties are in little doubt that the song is about him.

Gyllenhaal has never commented.

Their age gap was cited as one of the reasons for the split. She was 20 at the time; he was 29.

In the song, she says: “And you call me up again just to break me like a promise
So casually cruel in the name of being honest
I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here.”

He said his racy new drama explores relationships, intimacy, and a "mistake".

"In the end, it's very human.

"The essence of the story — and the thing I loved about it the most — is that something that is seemingly a very human mistake becomes blown into this Shakespearean tragedy and thriller."
