However, the criminal doesn’t know about the pregnancy as Adam forced him out of town earlier this month.
Wanting him to stay away from Sarah, the solicitor paid a visit to someone from Damon’s past.
Lying that Damon was planning on speaking to the police in order to get a lighter sentence for his involvement in insurance fraud, the criminal believed every word.
Fearing for his safety, he decided to flee Weatherfield, unaware that Sarah could be carrying
his child.
With it unclear whether or not Sarah and Adam’s marriage can survive her betrayal, actor Samuel Robinson shared his thoughts on what he wants to happen.
He said: “I would have loved to see them growing their family and living happily together.
“I love working with Tina, I think she’s great. But obviously, the writing team and the audience want to see that conflict.
“If they do stay together I just pray they have a period of time where the relationship is tender again and they can be kind to each other and be happy.”
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
