Dwayne Myers (played by Danny John-Jules) was one of the original cast members of Death in Paradise. From 2011 Danny played the much-loved police officer before making the difficult decision to leave after seven years on Saint Marie.
This prompted Dwayne to try and rekindle his relationship with his father.
As time went on the police officer decided to sail away from Saint Marie on an adventure with Nelson.
As Dwayne wasn't killed off, it means he could return to the series at any point.
The actor hasn't ruled out making a comeback either.
Ralf, who plays Neville Parker in Death in Paradise, has teased Danny's return as he admitted he would love to work with him on the show.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine, the Two Pints actor began: "I've known him for years because it's such a small industry. I think he's absolutely fantastic, an absolute legend. He's a legend in my childhood so, who knows?"
"I think in season 10 we proved, if nothing else, that anything is possible," he added.
"Particularly because the last time Ben Miller was seen on the show he had an ice pick sticking out his heart. So, who knows?"

Series 10 of the hit drama saw the unlikely return on DI Richard Poole (Ben Miller) who came back from the dead after being stabbed to death with an ice pick.
Ben made a cameo appearance to mark the series' 10th anniversary.
Another familiar face that came back to the show was DS Florence Cassell (Josephine Jobert).
The detective sergeant returned to Saint Marie to help DI Neville Parker solve the death of a reporter found dead in a swimming pool.
Death in Paradise's executive producer Tim Key hasn't ruled out Danny's potential return either.
He also teased that Humprey Goodman could grace television screens again in future episodes.
"Never say never. I wouldn’t rule anything out. Who knows...," Tim explained.
“The joyous thing is that we do genuinely all stay in touch."
Death in Paradise is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
