Emmerdale spoilers: Charity Dingle discovers Chas Dingle's 'betrayal' in affair twist
EMMERDALE vixen Charity Dingle's latest storyline left ITV viewers confused during Monday's episode as it seems the troublemaker could have been betrayed by one her loved ones after kissing newcomer MacKenzie.
Emmerdale: Noah and Sarah question Chas after her stay
Charity (played by Emma Atkins) was left devastated in the latest episode of Emmerdale after her fiancée Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) discovered her wife-to-be had cheated on her by kissing newcomer Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb). The only reason the veterinary nurse found out she had been betrayed was because an unknown character sent a picture to her of the troublemakers sharing a romantic embrace. As the storyline continued, ITV soap viewers were left confused as to who actually shot the evidence, but could Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) have something to do with it?
It was a huge blow for Vanessa to discover what her fiancée had been up to, just hours after finding out she had been given the all-clear following her bowel cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
With the likes of Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) fuming with Charity for cheating on her sister, those watching at home took to Twitter to discuss who could have sent the picture.
One viewer wrote: “Still doesn't make sense how someone took the photo of Charity and Mac and sent it to Vanessa…#emmerdale.”
Another added: “I do feel for Charity though. She really didn’t do anything wrong. Plus, I want to know who took the photo? #Emmerdale.”
Whilst a third commented: “I still want to know who took that photo of Charity and Mackenzie kissing #Emmerdale.”

A fourth remarked: “But who took the f*****g photo? #Emmerdale,” whilst a fifth shared: “Still haven’t worked out who took the photo! #emmerdale.”
It could be any number of villagers who took the photo, but they would have needed a grudge against Charity in order to have sent it to Vanessa.
The only people who could be ruled out of sending the incriminating evidence would be the wife-to-be, Mackenzie and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), who had been kidnapped by the newcomer.
However, one person who can’t be ruled out in Charity’s cousin Chas, who made her return to the village after taking a trip to Scotland.
I want to know who took the photo
The pub owner was on her own though, having left her partner Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) in the village as the pair are currently going through relationship troubles.
Chas told Charity the reason she’d come back was because the latter’s granddaughter Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) said she was worried about her grandmother.
Asking the troublemaker what she had done and what kind of “car crash” she’d got herself into, Cain’s sister listened as her cousin told her all about the affair scandal.
To this point, the character wasn’t supposed to know Charity met Mackenzie and kissed him after the cars collided.

Chas’ reference to a “car crash” might have been a throwaway comment, but with the character recently returning to the village, she could have very well spotted her cousin and the newcomer on her travels.
With her own relationship in tatters, she might have wanted to jeopardise Charity’s in order to have someone else suffering the heartache she is.
This would be a huge betrayal as the two women have been more like sisters than cousins over the years and even own the pub together.
If Paddy’s partner was the person who sent the photograph to Vanessa and her cousin discovers what spiteful thing she did to her, will this be the end of their relationship?
Tuesday night’s episode will see the two women spend more time together as they discuss their respective relationship issues.
Charity will urge her cousin to get her romance with Paddy back on track or risk losing the life she has with him for good.
It seems the conversation will push Chas to talk to her other half, but it’s yet to be seen whether they can really make amends.
However, as Vanessa's fiancée comes up with a plan to win back her bride-to-be, will both cousins be facing more heartbreak?
