Love Island 2019: Who left Love Island tonight? Who was dumped?
LOVE ISLAND 2019 saw three people leave the villa tonight after a drama-filled episode of the ITV2 series. But who left Love Island tonight and who was dumped?
Amy Hart, Curtis Pritchard, Lucie Donlan and George Rains were all eligible to be dumped tonight as their Love Island 2019 villa mates voted for their favourite couple. Love Island 2019 also saw two cast members leave last night. ITV2 interviewed both the Love Island cast members who left tonight and got them to reveal what they really felt about being axed from the show.
Who left Love Island tonight?
Lucie Donlan, George Rains and Amy Hart all left Love Island 2019 tonight.
Lucie and George were dumped, while Amy decided to leave the villa in order to allow Curtis to pursue Maura Higgins without hurting her.
When asked how surprised she was by the dumping, Lucie said: “I knew it was coming, there were too many people in that villa!
“We thought there was going to be some kind of dumping but we didn’t think it would be a double dumping.
“I wasn’t too shocked with what happened, I kind of expected it.”
George, however, was more surprised, telling ITV: “I was really surprised and I was hoping that I wouldn’t leave!”
Earlier on in Love Island 2019, Lucie made headlines for her relationship with Joe Garratt, who was accused by many of gaslighting her.
Lucie said of him: “I don’t have any regrets about coupling up with Joe.
“I went with how I felt at the time. I felt really strongly about him at the time.”
When asked if George and she would take their relationship further outside of the villa, Lucie said: “I’m glad I took George back to the main villa, he is very much my type.
“We weren’t massively romantically involved but we’re going to be friends.”
George agreed, saying they would: “Definitely stay friends. And I want to get a few free surf lessons!”
Elsewhere on Love Island tonight, Amy decided to leave the villa.
She told former ‘half-boyfriend’ Curtis: “Realistically for me, I’m not going to be ready in the next three weeks to meet someone else.
“So, I’m leaving today but it’s a positive thing because I’m going to go and start the rest of my
life today.”
She told her fellow Love Islanders: “My Love Island journey finished last night when I sat at that fire pit and I looked at it and thought, ‘Even if I had to take the last week, I would take it if it meant I could take those first four weeks over again.’”
Love Island 2019 airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2.
