Arabella Chi job: Was Love Island's Arabella really a maternity model?
ARABELLA CHI made quite the entrance on Love Island this year as the model caused Danny Williams and Yewande Biala to split. While she spoke about being a model on the ITV2 series, some have found Arabella on ASOS modelling maternity wear.
Love Island: Islanders shocked as Danny and Arabella KISS
Love Island 2019 welcomed Arabella Chi into the villa during the show’s third week and the model instantly made an impact. Arabella caught the eye of Danny Williams, prompting him to couple up with her instead of Yewande Biala resulting in the latter being dumped from the island. Arabella’s made no secret of her previous job as a model, although some fans have since discovered she’s modelled for ASOS in maternity clothes.
Was Love Island's Arabella really a maternity model?
Arabella Chi has worked as a maternity model for popular online retailers ASOS.
Love Island fans flooded social media with the revelation following Monday night’s episode (June 24).
On ASOS, Arabella can be found modelling a number of different garments under the maternity section of the website.
Obviously, Arabella isn’t pregnant herself but it didn’t stop her from donning the specially-made outfits for the site.
On ASOS, Arabella can be found modelling a number of different styles of clothing, from blouses to skirts.
The following products are a select few from ASOS Maternity in which Arabella models:
- Mamalicious maternity sleeveless denim midi dress
- Mamalicious maternity stripe bardot midi dress
- Mamalicious maternity organic tube maxi skirt
- Mamalicious maternity button front twill mini skirt
- Mamalicious maternity t-shirt mini dress
- Mamalicious maternity jersey snake print midi skirt
While the maternity clothing may have caught the attention of Love Island fans, Arabella’s Instagram page features a number of snaps from her other shoots.
Arabella also revealed to ITV that her modelling led to her “being on a billboard on Oxford Street for G Star last year.”
The 28-year-old’s job also became a talking point between her and current partner, Danny.
Love Island new arrival Danny is also a successful model.
Danny appears to have defied Arabella’s expectations as she mentioned before entering the villa she was “reluctant” to date models.
Arabella said her biggest turn-off is: “Arrogance – you meet a lot of them in modelling.
“It does make me more reluctant to date models. But there is a difference between cockiness and confidence. I don’t mind cocky but in a charming way.”
Whether Arabella and Danny have what it takes to go the distance on Love Island will be determined over the coming days on ITV2.
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2.
