When is Eurovision: You Decide 2019 on TV?
Eurovision: You Decide will be on screens this Friday (February 8, 2019) at 7.30pm on BBC One.
The programme is 90-minutes long and is presented by Mel Giedroyc and 2015 Eurovision winner and Swedish pop star Mans Zelmerlow.
As well as acts competing for the chance to represent the UK, there will also be surprise performers.
The show sees six acts perform, with three songs each performed by two acts in differing music styles.
The winner will be chosen by both a panel of celebrity judges and votes from the viewing public at home.
Last year the UK was represented by Essex born singer-songwriter SuRie, with her song Storm.
Who are the competing acts in Eurovision: You Decide 2019?
There are three songs to be performed: Sweet Lies, Freaks and Bigger Than Us.
MAID
Maid are performing Freaks and a three-piece girl group made up of members Miracle 26, Blythe,24 and Kat,27.
Jordan Clarke
Jordan Clarke, 24, has a famous past- having starred in Finding Neverland alongside Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet as one of the lost boys.
He has appeared on Britain's Got Talent as a member of the group The Luminites. Jordan will be performing Freaks.
Michael Rice
Michael Rice, 21, won the BBC show All Together Now in 2018.
He rose to fame from a YouTube video of him busking in Hartlepool and will be singing the soulful ballad Bigger Than Us.
Holly Tandy
Holly Tandy, 17, will be performing a country-pop version of Bigger Than Us.
She reached the semi-final of the X Factor with mentor Sharon Osbourne in 2017.
Kerri-Anne
Kerri-Anne, 32, is singing an up-tempo version of Sweet Lies.
She comes from a musical background, as her brother is a hip-hop/soul producer and her sister plays the harp.
Anisa
Anisa, 31, is signing a more stripped back version of Sweet Lies, and in 2016 she was named by the BBC’s Asian Network as one of its Future Sounds.
She's supported various acts such as Ne-Yo, Brandy, Ashanti and James Arthur, and co-wrote Piano for Ariana Grande’s debut album.
