X Factor 2018: ‘It was a c**k-up’ Simon Cowell SNAPS at Dermot O’Leary
X FACTOR 2018 judge Simon Cowell appeared to lose his cool on the ITV programme today as he admitted he had made some mistakes last week.
X Factor: Simon reveals he made last minute changes to songs
Last week saw Simon Cowell’s act Molly Scott leave the X Factor after being voted off.
Tonight on the ITV programme before Scarlett Lee was due to perform, host Dermot O’Leary asked Simon about losing an act.
“You lost Molly last week…” Dermot began.
“Thank you,” Simon sarcastically responded.
Can I introduce my act now
Dermot then continued: “You said it was your bad and I know today you changed a couple of songs with your acts."
“Yep,” Simon bluntly confirmed.
The presenter asked: “So how are you feeling, are you pretty nervous today?”
Simon shot back: “No, I’m not feeling nervous. It was a bit of a c**k-up last week, I will never dress as a mummy again.
“But you know we’re back to business all of the girls have great songs tonight.”
Simon went on to add: “Can I introduce my act now?”
Subsequently, viewers thought Simon was beginning to lose his temper a bit.
"Simon: Can I introduce my act now?! Rude much?.....#LiveShows #XFactor,” one tweeted.
Another said: ”Simon being overly sassy towards Dermot this week. Someone has touched a nerve! #bringbackmolly #xfactor."
"Simon was a bit stroppy with Dermot there,” a third observed.
Scarlett went on to perform I’ll Never Love Again from the A Star Is Born soundtrack.
Those watching at home seemed to be taken with Scarlett’s performance and took to Twitter to comment.
“WOW! Scarlett has a brillaint voice! #XFactor @ScarlettMusic97,” one wrote.
A second shared: “Now that’s star quality , Scarlett Lee that was fantastic . #xfactor.”
A third exclaimed: “Wow well done Scarlett!! @TheXFactor #xfactor.”
“SCARLETT!!!!! AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING. #XFactor #MovieWeek,” a fourth said.
