Now for a right royal patter of tiny feet
I THOROUGHLY intend to be out of the country during the Olympics. The traffic here in London is horrific at the best of times and the thought of the road rage coming our way very soon makes my head throb now.
But I’m genuinely sorry that events have conspired to take us out of the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee. As the royal pageant proceeds magnificently down the Thames tomorrow we’ll be on a plane.
I’ll be able to catch up on it later but, still, I rather love the atmosphere in this country at jubilees and royal weddings.
It’s really lovely to see the bunting and the growing excitement as communities get ready for their street parties.
There’s such genuine warmth, affection and admiration for the Queen and as a country we do these things so well.
Incidentally, I predicted here a couple of weeks ago that there will be a new royal baby on the block by next summer.
And this week William gave his clearest indication yet that he and Kate will try for a baby soon.
I’m just very keen to have a family
“I’m just very keen to have a family and both Catherine and I, you know, are looking forward to having a family in
the future,” Wills said on American TV.
Go for it Wills. Give us something to celebrate next year.
