Greeks fail to form coalition
FEARS that Greece is heading for bankruptcy grew yesterday after talks to form a coalition government failed a week after an inconclusive election.
The talks became deadlocked over austerity cuts being demanded in return for EU bail-outs.
Without agreement new elections will be held next month which are likely to deliver victory to the anti-austerity parties, ending bail-outs and leading to exit from the euro.
