Zip it, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole’s back with a bang...
CHERYL Cole has revealed her fractured relationship with Simon Cowell was saved when she blew up a life-size dummy of him.
The former Girls Aloud singer confessed it felt “great” to blast the model to smithereens while visiting British troops in Afghanistan.
Cheryl, 28, revealed the media mogul called her to make amends after watching the stunt, organised by Army explosives experts.

She said: “It felt great, actually. When I landed back in England there was a message from Simon, saying ‘Hello, Cheryl. So, now that you’ve blown me up in Afghanistan, can we talk?’”
The Geordie star was devastated when her former boss unceremoniously dumped her from the US X Factor. But now she is back on top form with a new single out in June and a series of sexy photos in GQ magazine. She said she had learned lessons after being “stabbed in the back” by her former mentor. But she added: “I’m not one of those people who holds a grudge.”

In an interview with the magazine, Cheryl, who split from her footballer husband Ashley in 2010, also confessed she is desperate to have children and has developed a soft spot for Prince Harry.
She described the 27-year-old Prince as “good looking and a bit of a rebel”. Despite being single, however, Cheryl said she would not go out with him as she wouldn’t want to be labelled a Cougar for dating a younger man.
She says she is also “thick as thieves” with his father, Prince Charles. She joined forces with his Prince’s Trust charity when she set up The Cheryl Cole Foundation to help disadvantaged teenagers in her native North-east.
