An Olympic run for Princess Beatrice
PRINCESS Beatrice yesterday fired the starting gun for the first public race at the new Olympic Stadium in east London.
She then joined 5,000 runners in the National Lottery Olympic Park Run (left) and presented medals.
Beatrice, 23, who two years ago became the first Royal Family member to complete the London marathon, said: “It is fantastic to see the incredible transformation the Olympic Park has undergone.
“The experience of being one of the first to cross the Olympic finish line is an extraordinary moment.”
