PSG hand lifeline to Carlos Tevez
BIG-SPENDING Paris Saint-Germain could come to Carlos Tevez’s rescue after the Argentinian ace appeared to have lost out on his Italian job.
Talks between Manchester City, who are looking to offload for around £25million, and AC Milan broke down last week because the Italian champions initially want Tevez on loan.
City will not budge over their stance that they want a fee for the 27-year-old.
Inter Milan are hovering but ambitious PSG are anxious for a high-profile signing and new boss Carlo Ancelotti knows all about Tevez’s abilities from his time as manager of Chelsea.
City assistant boss David Platt even hinted that Tevez might not after all have played his last game for the club.
“We haven’t got into whether the rift can be repaired,” he admitted. “The club are quite happy to accept offers but if it’s not the right deal he will still be a Manchester City player.”
