Carrie steps back into the 80s for SATC2
FASHIONISTAS rejoiced when Sarah Jessica Parker hit the streets as her glam alter-ego yesterday.
But today Carrie Bradshaw showed off a very different side to everybody's favourite fictional columnist.
Minus her infamous designer stilettos, SJP was spotted in a funky 80s-inspired outfit as she filmed scenes for the eagerly-awaited sequel.
With a blonde perm, off-the-shoulder grey jumper and Converse trainers, Carrie looked more like a Flashdance extra than her typically fashionable self.

Clutching a horde of suitcases, the star is seen walking excitedly through Manhattan.
The hilarious scene is rumoured to be a flashback of when Carrie first arrived in the Big Apple as a twenty-something-wannabe writer - and judging by her footwear, before she discovered Manolo Blahnik.
But it wasn't long before the star changed into a more typical Carrie outfit - opting for a cobalt-blue, glittery swing top and skirt for her first scene with on-screen love, Chris Noth.
Stepping out of a swanky convertible, the 44-year-old grinned as she shielded the sun in brilliant-orange sunglasses accompanied by an uncharacteristically dressed-down Mr Big.
The 54-year-old is the second character in the infamous cast to be spotted on set - so far fans are still eagerly awaiting the arrival of the rest of the girl troupe: Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda.

The new movie, which Kristin Davis has described as "very different" from the first, is rumoured to see Mr Big lose his fortune as the credit crunch takes its toll.
There is also speculation Carrie will have children and the pair will hit another rocky patch.
Dressed in a white sheer minidress and Christian Laboutin heels, the actress stepped out of the apartment she shares with Mr Big - which the couple bought and sold in the first film.
Sex And The City 2 is set to be released in May 2010.
