Speaking on CNN, Dr Bornstein claims he did not even “write the letter”.
He said: “He dictated that whole letter. I didn't write that letter.
"I just made it up as I went along."
The letter was released by Trump’s campaign in December 2015.

Speaking of Mr Trump, it read: "His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary.
"If elected, Mr Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the Presidency."
The letter did not offer much medical evidence.
But it described Mr Trump’s blood pressure as “astonishingly excellent”, claimed he has lost 15 pounds over the previous year and described his cardiovascular health as “excellent”.

He said: "I was just rushed for time. I had people to see.”
In 2016 he insisted the words were his own, but now Dr Bornstein is claiming Trump’s ex-bodyguard Keith Schiller robbed his office when Schiller retrieved the President’s medical records.

Dr Bornstein said: "That's black humour, that letter. That's my sense of humour.
"It's like the movie 'Fargo': It takes the truth and moves it in a different direction."
