North Korea to welcome K-Pop stars from SOUTH in new charm offensive
SOUTH Korea is to send 160 K-Pop stars to rogue nation North Korea as tensions continue to thaw between the two nations in a new charm offensive.

Seoul will send performers to Pyongyang for a four day visit from March 31 to April 3.
The group will include K-pop girl group Red Velvet and music industry veterans Cho Yong Pil and Lee Sun Hee, the South's Ministry of Unification said.
The visit was announced in a statement issued after inter-Korean talks at the border truce village of Panmunjom.
The deal is the latest step in the detente that began after North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said at the beginning of the year that he intended to improve ties with his Southern neighbours.

The visitors will hold two shows in Pyongyang and officials will visit the North from March 22 to 24 ahead of the official visit to inspect the sites and ensure North Korea can accommodate the singers.
Just last month, the North sent an art troupe to South Korea to celebrate the Olympics with 140 members of its Samjiyon Orchestra staging two performances.
