THIS is the moment an eyewitness to the Barcelona terror attack heard a mother screaming for her children beside him as armed police piled into the scene.

The eyewitness said he was walking down a “jam-packed” La Ramblas in the centre of the city when he heard a “crashing noise”.
Speaking to Sky News, he said a woman screamed as police and vans flooded the “chaotic” scene”.
He said: “I was just walking down La Ramblas which is probably the busiest area of Barcelona. It was jam-packed with tourists.
“All of a sudden we sort of heard a crashing noise and the whole street just stared to run, screaming.

I saw a woman next to me screaming for her kids.
“I saw a woman next to me screaming for her kids.
“The police were very, very quickly there. Armed police officers with guns. Vans everywhere. Then the whole street started getting pushed back.
“You could see chaos at the top, cars etc. You couldn’t tell what was happening.”
Two armed men entered a restaurant on the popular tourist strip in the Catalan capital.
Dozens of people were hit by a van on Thursday afternoon leaving 13 dead and more than 80 injured.
Witnesses said a white van driven by a male mounted the pavement before crashing into pedestrians.
People have been urged to avoid the area, with peope now shuttered inside shops in the area for their own safety.
