Teacher accused of romping with pupil half her age after boasting about it
A TEACHER has been accused of romping with a pupil half her age after he was overheard blabbing about it.
A teacher was arrested after a week-long probe and charged with two counts of sexual activity
The boy's mum said she thought her son was joking and hoped Rebecca Reeves would not lose her job unfairly.
But Reeves, 33, was arrested after a week-long probe and charged with two counts of sexual activity with a pupil.
The brunette's "intimate" relationship with him started last October when he was 16, said police.
Reeves reportedly fled her home and moved into another area when bosses at Southern Nash High School, Bailey, North Carolina, got wind of it.
And she was sacked as an assistant coach and consumer sciences tutor when she failed to show up at a showdown about the accusations.

School officials handed over the findings of an internal investigation to Nash County Sheriff's Office.
And Reeves was taken into custody in Madison County after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
She was held at the Madison County Detention Centre in Marshall before being released on a $40,000 unsecured bond.
She is due to appear in court tomorrow at Nash County Courthouse in Nashville.
