Border guard discover 13 migrants hiding in a lorry on the Polish border
A STOWAWAY group of 13 migrants was caught hiding in the back of a lorry with Turkish licence plates crossing into Poland.

Border control officers of the Silesian district stopped two lorries for a routine check-up where they discovered a group of men and women with children.
The vehicles were halted on the A4 highway in the south of Poland near the town of Niemodlin, at a service stop.

They were taken to a Border Guard unit, where they will be examined by a doctor, will have a chance to rest, and have a meal
Katarzyna Walczak, spokesperson for the Silesian Border Guard revealed the people were hiding in the container part of the lorry.
“They were taken to a Border Guard unit, where they will be examined by a doctor, will have a chance to rest, and have a meal, we will then proceed with further action.” Ms Walczak said.
Border guard officers will try establish their nationality and destination
Officers are trying to establish the nationalities of the migrants, which so far remain unknown.
A translator is expected to be brought in tomorrow to help identify the people.
