MORE than 100 people have been injured after two trains crashed in a head-on collision today.

Around 20 people are believed to be in a serious condition after the train crash in Pretoria, South Africa.
Tshwane emergency services spokesperson Johan Pieterse said they were dealing with the crash with the amount of wounded between 100 and 150 people.

Officials said the injury toll could be as high as 150
He said: “Twenty people are in a serious condition. No one is in critical condition‚ and there are no deaths.”
Xander Loubser, spokesperson for the Care Ambulance Service, said the train crash was caused by two coaches colliding.
He said it was not known why the two trains were on the same track.
