GOTCHA: Russia obliterates ISIS targets in Syria as second massive attack launched
ISLAMIC STATE (ISIS) jihadis are being blasted by Russia in a major offensive launched to take out dash targets.
Bombs dropped on ISIS command centres in Syria
The raid follows a similar attack on Saturday.
On both occasions long-range bombers have flown all the way from Russia to the Syrian governorate of Deir ez-Zor.
In the latest assault six Tupolev Tu-22M3 bombers flew through Iranian and Iraqi airspace on Monday and conducted airstrikes.

The news was confirmed by the Russian Defence Ministry reported.
Russia said the bombs hit terrorist group’s command centres and weapons stockpiles in a statement.
The Russian military said all targets were successfully destroyed.

It is said now the ISIS fighters in the area are dispatching additional troops and weapons there to ready for a major offensive.
While IS has managed to win some territory, the provincial capital remains under the control of Damascus.
Deir ez-Zor has been battered by air strikes and war
