Knifeman leaves at least five injured in France horror attack
AT least five people have been injured after a knifeman went on the rampage in France.

The knifeman stabbed five people in an attack near Lyon, France this evening.
Police said the man, thought to be 20-years-old, broke into a hotel near Place du Dauphine and stabbed a woman at the hotel restaurant.
He then ran away to a nearby McDonald’s sparking a major police operation.
One person was more seriously injured at the neck
Four people were injured in the McDonald's stabbing in Tignieu-Jameyzieu before the suspect fled the scene to get on a bus, according to French media reports.
Dietlind Baudoin, the prosecutor of the Republic of Bourgoin-Jallieu, said: “One person was more seriously injured at the neck."
The suspect was later arrested on a bus.
Around 30 armed officers were dispatched to apprehend the suspect, according to reports
Police arrested a man near Lyon following the stabbing
Police ruled out terrorism and said the suspect has been admitted to hospital under psychiatric supervision.
Around 30 armed police officers were deployed to find the knifeman following the attack at around 7pm local time.
The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the attack.
