IMMIGRANTS who “spit on France” and refuse to integrate into society should leave, a right-wing movement has demanded.

Generation Identitaire, who describes themselves as a militant organisation, told BBC Newsnight that having ID papers might make non-Europeans citizens, but it did mot make them French.
Romain Espino, one of the leading members of the group, said: “Each new generation is becoming less integrated.
“We have young non-Europeans who have been here for two or three generations who don’t feel French. They spit on France.”
Speaking to the BBC’s, the nationalist movement claimed they have 2,000 fee-paying members who support their cause.

The group also made it clear they were militants and should not be mistaken for activists.
Adding that immigrants should leave if they do not want to integrate, Mr Espino continued: “If they don’t feel French, we will give them the option of returning to a country which they feel more invested in.
“They’re French on paper. They are not culturally French. They don’t share our way of life. They are citizens, they have ID papers. But that doesn’t make them truly French.
“If they spit on France, they spit on Europe, if they break the law, if they don’t want to be here, we suggest that they leave.”

Each week the group reaches out to homeless Europeans who live on the streets, in response to the government’s decision to “aid migrants” instead of its own citizens.
Fuming at politicians in France, Mr Espino said: “We have noticed that people sleeping rough here are always Europeans.
“Politicians have decided to help migrants instead, even illegal immigrants. They’re looked after, given food etc, and those left out on the streets are Europeans.”
In addition to actively taking to the streets to spread awareness about their movement, Generation Identitaire also organises summer camps with like-minded organisations across Europe.

One of the groups they cooperate with is Austrian Identitare Bewegung and in footage from one of the summer events, youths from several countries can be seen learning how to fight side by side.
The Newsnight journalist also spoke with one of the members of the Austrian movement, Martin Sellner, who called for “zones and areas around Europe” to be created to house refugees.
Mr Sellner said: “Those people who came here illegally during the refugee crisis – they need to be sent back home.
“A lot of them didn’t come from Syria to begin with, and for the others, I think we should create zones and areas around Europe.”
