Asylum seeker arrested after 'stabbing ex wife to death in front of their child'
AN IRANIAN migrant has been arrested after allegedly stabbing his ex-wife to death as she pushed their baby in a pram on a street in broad daylight.

The man, 34, is said to have attacked his ex, aged 26, in the German city of Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia.
According to German media the Iranian couple, who were separated, were on their way to the railway station when a row broke out.

The victim sustained severe injuries and died later in hospital
Reports suggest the man brandished a knife mid-row in the middle of the road before stabbing her multiple times.
Prosecutor Henner Kruse, 44, said: "The victim sustained severe injuries and died later in hospital."
Local media reported that doctors still tried to save the woman with emergency surgery, but the multiple stab wounds which pierced vital organs proved fatal.

Witnesses said they tried to hold back the Iranian, who according to the first findings of investigators lived in Germany as an asylum seeker.
Local media reported that the couple lived separately, but met on the fateful day at a mutual friend's for a discussion.
Murder squad detectives of the Dortmund police are currently investigating the man's motives.
