A TEENAGER French radical Islamist has been sentenced to four years in prison for throwing a jug of scalding oil at his cellmate and brutally attacking two prison guards.
A French Islamist has been sentenced to four years for throwing hot oil over his cellmate
The young man had already been convicted of terror-related charges and of assaulting a group of police officers, and was only 15 days into his initial prison sentence when the attack took place on August 1.
The jihadist is said to have heated the oil in a pan before aiming the boiling hot liquid at a prison guard, who was walking the terrorist's cellmate back to the shared cell.
But the young man missed his target, and threw the hot oil all over his fellow inmate's face instead, partially disfiguring him.
The teenager also brutally attacked two prison guards
The prison guard received minor burns to his face and forearm after being hit by a few drops but was not badly injured.
Seemingly untamed, the radicalised teenager beat up another prison guard just three days after the oil attack.
The radical jihadist, who was born in Cannes, a glamorous coastal town on the French Riviera, was first arrested on July 16.

You are all unbelievers! My Nice brother was a fool
Found in possession of a ceramic knife just two days after an ISIS fanatic killed 86 people by ploughing a 19-tonne lorry down Nice's Promenade des Anglais, the young extremist allegedly told the police officers who arrested him: "You are all unbelievers! My Nice brother was a fool.
"What he did is nothing compared to what I am about to do in the name of Allah!"

The teenager - who tried to resist arrest and attacked the policemen - was subsequently charged with 'defending terrorism,' 'uttering death threats,' and 'assaulting a police officer'.
The prison guards' lawyer, Audrey Massei, confirmed that the suspected terrorist had been sentenced to an additional four years in prison, and told the press that there was "no way" he would be getting out before then.
The court also ruled that the pro-ISIS youth would have to pay his victims "thousands of euros in damages".
