Balcony collapse leaves four dead and 14 injured in housewarming tragedy
A THIRD floor balcony has collapsed at a student housewarming party in Angers, France leaving four dead and 14 injured.

The balcony reportedly collapsed under the weight of the group, who were celebrating a housewarming party.
An initial investigation has found that fiften people were on the balcony when it gave way shortly before midnight on Saturday October 15.
Reports suggest that three men and one woman died after being pulled from the rubble. Authorities have not released their identities.

Dozens of firefighters attended the scene at a newly completed apartment building in Angers, western France.
The incident caused two balconies below to also fall to the ground – AFP has reported that both balconies were empty at the time.

The city's University Hospital have confirmed that 10 people are being treated for injuries, one of whom was in a serious condition. Another four were treated at a clinic.
Michel Pichon, the hospital's duty manager, said that the victims "were about 20 years old, certainly students".
