Couple will still marry - despite Hurricane Matthew RUINING their wedding venue
ONE couple have pledged to carry on with their wedding in Florida come hell or high water - after Hurricane Matthew decided to hammer their dream wedding venue.

Jaime Gurnavage and Ryan Gordon were due to have their perfect day on a beach on the east coast of Florida tomorrow.
With the category three tropical storm pummelling the coastline, things were looking rocky for the pair who have been engaged for two years.
But the couple have failed to let the weather dampen their big day and have pledged to carry on with their wedding despite the dramatic winds and rain.
The wedding was due to take place at Ocean Landing Resort in Cocoa Beach

Miss Gurnavage, an adviser for a local non-profit organisation, said: ”We plan on still having some type of ceremony. Whatever kind of ceremony that may be."
The wedding was due to take place at Ocean Landing Resort in Cocoa Beach, with 100 guests planning to attend the ceremony - with 30 flying in from other states.

But only 15 were able to make their flights to the Florida coast - who were then whisked off to Orland with Miss Gurnavage and Mr Gordon after being evacuated.
While other Florida couples have put off their wedding plans thanks to Mother Nature’s meddling, the duo say their love will prevail over wind and rain.

Miss Gurnavage said: ”Everybody asked if we were going to reschedule.
“But everything is engraved with the 8th of October. We picked the 8th because the number eight, when you set it on the side, it's the infinity symbol.

"If we rescheduled it for later, who knows who would be able to make it back.
"We're going to go with the 8th."

The hurricane is scheduled to carry on moving north-west up the coastline, next hitting Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. over the coming days.
By Sunday morning, the hurricane will be pushed out to sea - which is likely to force Matthew to curve back around toward the southwest and return to Florida for Round Two.
Hopefully for the couple, a second hit will be avoided - as they had planned to honeymoon in Key West on Florida’s south coast.
