VIOLENT clashes erupted when gangs of Afghan, Syrian and Iraqi youths fought each other in a Greek migrant centre.

Seven people were injured in the bloody fight at a camp in Morio on Lesbos, which is home to 3,000 people.
The vicious scuffle began at around midnight on Sunday in the area of the centre where underage migrants stay.
Witnesses reported seeing children from Afghanistan fight against children from Syria.

Volunteers have said that tensions have been building in the centre since the recent deal to send all new arrivals to Lesbos back to Turkey
The Syrians got involved after the Iraqis threatened them with violence.
Around 40 people escaped when the doors in the area were destroyed.
Police have said that five teenagers and two adults required treatment for minor injuries, but no arrests have been reported following the brawl.

There was also trouble in the Moria camp in April when migrants hurled rocks at police and set rubbish alight.

The fight is believed to have lasted for several hours.
Migrants in the camp are awaiting their asylum bids to be processed and if these are rejected, they face deportation back to Turkey under this year’s EU-Turkey deal.
This camp was visited by the Pope earlier this year, who took 12 Syrian migrants back with him to the Vatican after visiting the camp.
