Kim Jong-un prances around fish tackle factory as North Koreans starve
DESPOT Kim Jong-un has been photographed beaming from ear-to-ear as he prances around a newly-built fishing tackle factory while the country is gripped by famine.

The North Korean dictator was snapped perusing the new build in Pyongyang, constructed by the Korean People’s Army.
The photos released by Korean Central News Agency see him in the net production room, playing with a basket of buoys and learning about the factory’s level of technical equipment.

The supreme leader of the hermit state praised the facilities and said the factory will now help fuel the diet of military servicemen and other North Koreans.
This is not the first time the leader has been shown around a swanky new building as the rest of his country starves.
He was taken on a trip around a new department store in March just hours after the country announced it is on the brink of another famine.

North Korea’s famine – known as the Arduous March – lasted from 1994 to 1998, during which hundreds of thousands died from starvation but many fear the country is in the midst of a second famine.
A state newspaper warned in March of another famine if North Koreans did not show loyalty to the tubby tyrant.
It said they could be "forced to eat grass" and "left in isolation to fight against the enemy”.
But the country responded by saying: “Whether in independence, under subjugation, war, or peace, we are in a most extreme situation.
“Our unity is the essence of the principle of a hundred wars, a hundred victories, as long as we believe in the supreme leader Kim Jong Un.”
His visit comes as the country struggles with crippling poverty
The majority of North Koreans live in poverty, earning the equivalent of 70p-£1.40 a month.
His tour also comes after Pyongyang lashed out at the US after they blacklisted the secretive state over allegations of killings, forced labour and torture.
North Korea threatened to cut off all diplomatic with the US if the sanctions were not lifted.
