Horror as student 'beaten, stripped and paraded naked' by mob who set her car on fire
A FEMALE student has spoken of her horror after claiming she was beaten, stripped and paraded naked by an angry mob.

The 21-year-old was said to have been the target of a vicious attack after the mob mistook her car for one that had earlier ran over and killed a villager.
The Tanzanian native told police the mob had pulled her from her vehicle before setting it on fire in the southern Indian town of Bangalore.
She then claimed the group attacked her before stripping her naked and parading her around the streets.
A bystander was also reported to have been beaten by the mob after trying to help the woman escape on a bus.

Speaking of the incident, the student said both her and her friends have been left traumatised as she recalled the horrific moment.
She told India Today: "Right now we are scared of every Indian around us."
The student, who attends Acharya College, is believed to have not been involved in the incident where a 35-year-old man was killed in a hit and run incident on Sunday night.

Bosco Kaweesi, a legal adviser at the All African Students Union, said: "She's Tanzanian, the man who caused the accident comes from Sudan, they didn't even know each other.
"The scared students were forced out of the car and then the car was set ablaze.
"The driver of the second car... was beaten up black and blue by the mob who then stripped the girl student.
"When someone from the crowd offered her a T-Shirt to save her modesty, that man too was beaten up by the mob.
"She later, with her torn clothes, tried to enter a BMTC bus that had slowed down nearby, but the passengers in the bus pushed her back down on to the road...
"People were streaming out from buses, auto-rickshaws and charging towards them, punching and kicking them."

The shocking incident of the car being set on fire was captured on camera and broadcast by NDTV.
A total of five students were said to have been injured following the incident, but have since reported to have been kicked out of hospital after having no money to pay their bills.
Their cash, passports and ATM cards were all destroyed in the fire.
The Tanzanian girl is reported to have told local police about the attack.
Bangalore's police commissioner, N.S. Megharikh, said his department has "zero tolerance for such kind of mob mindset".
Mr Megharik said: "We will definitely arrest the culprits immediately. We are yet to identify who are the people."
The Tanzanian Embassy has demanded a detailed report on the incident.
