Robber killed after trying to blow up CONDOM machine
A MAN died on Christmas Day when a CONDOM machine blew up in an apparent botched robbery.
A man who attempted to rob a condom machine in Germany has died
Police have said the 29-year-old died after he and two accomplices attached a bomb to the vending machine in a quiet street.
The would-be robber had apparently tried to take cover in a car but did not shut the door in time and was hit in the head with shrapnel.
His alleged accomplices took him to a German hospital where he later died.

Police have said three men tried to rob the machine on Christmas Day
The men told medical staff in the western town of Schoppingen, near the Dutch border that their unconscious friend had fallen down the stairs.
But one of them later admitted to police that they had blown up the machine.
Police confirmed that none of the money or condoms from the machine had been taken, but were left scattered on the ground.
The two surviving men were arrested before later being released from custody.
