A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl is "fighting for her life" in hospital after a car smashed into an airport.

It's safe to say the girl is fighting for her life
The girl was in critical condition after a driver plowed his Porsche into a terminal wall.
She is the daughter of an airline employee and suffered head trauma, according to reports.
A spokesman for Los Angeles Fire Department said: "It's safe to say [the girl] is fighting for her life."
The driver – a 67-year-old man – and his passenger were also hospitalised, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
He reportedly mistook the gas pedal for the brake before the car crashed into Los Angeles International Airport.
However, he will not face charges for the "accident", according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
He said: "He was not inebriated in any way from our initial investigation."
