Original HG Wells alien drawings set to go for £350,000
ORIGINAL drawings illustrating HG Wells’ classic 1898 sci-fi novel The War Of The Worlds are set to fetch £350,000 at auction.

Sold by his family in 1990, the groundbreaking artwork by struggling Brazilian artist Henrique Alvim Correa hugely impressed Wells – and shaped the way aliens were portrayed thereafter.
The 32 pen and ink drawings go under the hammer in Dallas, Texas, on May 14.
