WEDDING guests were left horrified after a groom and bride took part in an Islamic State (IS) themed party with an impersonator of killer Jihadi John.
Wedding guests were left horrified after a couple held an Islamic State (IS) themed wedding
Balaclava wearing men holding swords lead the newlyweds into a cage while a remixed version of IS propaganda music was played in the background.
The couple entered a cage similar to the one the terror group used to burn alive Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh.
Once inside the white cage the smiling newly married couple danced with a group of men who were pretending to be IS jihadists.
The groom held a sword while he danced and at one point held up a gun and showed it to the crowds gathered around him and his partner.
It is not clear if the weapons were real or fake.
The marriage ceremony was held in Menoufia, near the Egyptian capital of Cairo, and a video of it was published on social networking site Facebook.
It has been reported that some of the guests believed the wedding had actually been stormed by IS militants and did not realise it was a stunt.
The Youm7 newspaper claimed the idea was devised by the groom and only his attendants and the photographer Ahmed Kassem knew of the plan.

The groom had allegedly told his bride-to-be beforehand that he had been planning something "different" for the wedding but did not go into details.
The men pretending to be IS jihadists wore balaclavas similar to the ones worn by murderer Jihadi John to conceal his identity.
The British jihadist has appeared in videos showing the killing of Western hostages, including Britons Alan Henning and David Haines.

Last week Jihadi John was named as Mohammed Emwazi, a 26-year-old computer science graduate from London.
The clip of the IS themed wedding in Egypt comes after footage emerged of terror group IS beheading 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya in February.
Egypt responded by bombing IS targets in Libya including militant camps, training sites and weapons storage areas.
