Belgium train collision injures 30
A commuter train has collided with a freight train in south-east Belgium, leaving 30 passengers injured, officials have said.
The accident occurred near the city of Liege.
Officials say six of the 30 injured were taken to hospital.
Frederic Petit of railway maintenance company Infrabel told VRT radio most of the injuries were light.
He said the commuter train had 50 people onboard and it was on its way to Liege from the nearby city of Namur.
Investigators are trying to ascertain the cause of the crash.
