UCL to open Australia energy campus
University College London will become the first British university to open a campus in Australia.
UCL's agreement with the government of South Australia will see it open a School of Energy and Resources in Adelaide.
The centre will specialise in the area of global energy use, teaching 60 masters students, and will start work in 2009.
Marco Federighi, from UCL, said: "The School will enable UCL to play its part in addressing this complex worldwide challenge."
