Inside the world's tiniest home no wider than a Toblerone bar
Hundreds of TikTok users commented on the post with many questioning the lack of a bed and another asking whether there was something smaller in London.
Searching for a new place to live is always stressful and you'll always have to compromise.
Often, to compensate for the lack of space, landlords and building managers will try creative storage ideas to maximise every inch.
In Japan, this is taken to the extreme with buildings that appear small on the outside providing almost Tardis levels of space on the inside.
One flat in Tokyo epitomises this as one TikToker discovered when they found a property that appeared no wider than the length of a bar of Toblerone.
TikToker @tokyolens discovered what they claimed was the country’s smallest flat when they ventured inside a narrow yellow brick building.
Underneath the video, they said: “Would you live here?? This is Japan's worst tiny apartment hands down…and while Japan and the rest of Tokyo are filled with tiny apartments (and luxurious ones alike)... This one wins the prize!!”
Inside the front door is a narrow spiral staircase that takes occupants up to the small front door.
Once inside, visitors are in for a surprise as the space opens up to a kitchen, living area, and small balcony with enough space to lie down in.
Where things get complicated for any potential buyer is the need to use the toilet which can only be accessed by leaving the flat and going through a separate door into a narrow cubicle.
During his review, the TikToker suggested that those suffering from claustrophobia, a fear of small spaces, would not enjoy living in the flat.
Nevertheless, they were inundated with comments from amazed followers and astounded viewers.
While they were impressed by what the user had found, they noticed there was one thing missing from his review.

Tens of people commented that the user had not shown them where an occupant would sleep if there was space to get a mattress up the stairs.
In response to one comment, the TikToker replied: “Why would there be a bed in an empty apartment?”
Another user said: “I [would] just get an airbed. I can’t be bothered going through the drama of trying to do fit an actual bed through the stairs and then the room lol.”
A third user joked: “London be like hold my beer.”
