Swine flu liner on way to Aruba
A Spanish tour operator said a Caribbean cruise ship hit by a small outbreak of swine flu is headed for the island of Aruba, where the passengers will disembark.
A spokesman for Pullmantur denied an assertion by a Venezuelan official that the passengers and crew would be held in quarantine aboard the ship while it was moored off Venezuela's Isla Margarita.
The official said the ship was originally carrying 759 passengers and 400 crew but 342 Venezuelan passengers got off in Isla Margarita on Wednesday because that was their final destination.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity in line with company rules.
Three crew members aboard the Ocean Dream have tested positive for swine flu and 11 others have flu symptoms.
The ship was denied permission to dock in Grenada and Barbados on Wednesday.
