US rapper Post Malone’s private jet made an emergency landing in New York after two tyres blew mid-air forcing the plane to circle for five hours to burn fuel with the VMA winner on his way to the UK to perform at Reading and Leeds festival when disaster struck.

The hip-hop artist, from Grapevine, Texas, landed in an the Big Apple after his private jet came into trouble following its take off.
The 23-year-old travelled from Teterboro Airport, New Jersey, to perform at Reading Festival this weekend and Leeds afterwards.
The rapper’s Gulfstream IV aircraft’s tyres blew moments after taking off yesterday and after circling Westfield Barnes Airport in Massachusetts, finally landed in New York moments ago.
The musician took to Twitter to thank his fans for their "prayers".
He said: "I landed guys. Thank you for your prayers. can't believe how many people wished death on me on this website. f*** you. but not today."
Jim Peters, a spokesperson with the Federal Aviation Administration, told Variety in a statement a Gulfstream Aerospace GLF-4 aircraft blew two tyres as it took off from the runway at the Teterboro Airport at about 10.50am local time.
The airplane was headed for London Luton Airport and was directed away to burn fuel for five hours to make it safer for the pilot to land.
The drama comes hours after his performance alongside US veteran rockers Aerosmith at the MTV VMA awards in New York, whcih saw him scoop an award for son of the year for hit hit Rockstar.
There were 16 people on board, including Adam DeGross, Post Malone’s official tour photographer.
Private jet prepares for emergency landing
Post Malone is also set to perform at Leeds festival.
Post Malone’s track Rockstar hit the top of the charts earlier this year and catapulted into the spotlight.
He also featured Justin Bieber on his 2016 track Deja Vu back in 2016.
